Dr. Naylor Hoof 'n Heel, 16 oz

A topical antibacterial treatment for hoof and foot rot in sheep, goats, dairy, and beef cattle. Designed to combat infection without causing the hoof to shrink, discolor, harden, or become brittle. Each 16 oz bottle treats approximately 8-12 hooves. Made in the U.S.A.

Active Ingredients:

  • 11.2% (w/v) Zinc Sulfate (equivalent to 20% as the Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate)
  • 2% (w/v) Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in a cleansing, penetrating aqueous base

Key Benefits:

  • Effectively fights hoof infections, including foot rot, hoof rot, fouls, and foot scald in sheep, goats, cattle, and dairy cows.

Directions for Use:

  1. Clean and trim, when necessary, affected hooves to expose and remove all dead, loose, undermined tissue. Control any bleeding before applying Dr. Naylor® HOOF 'N HEEL®.
  2. Slowly squirt Dr. Naylor® HOOF 'N HEEL® onto the lesion, thoroughly covering and saturating the affected and surrounding areas while holding the hoof inverted. Allow it to penetrate before releasing the animal.
  3. For enhanced healing, the hoof may be wet-packed, bandaged, or soaked. Dr. Naylor® HOOF 'N HEEL® is reusable and stable.
  4. Treat twice daily until healing results are visible.
  5. Keep the animal in a clean, dry area during treatment. Sheep should be turned out to a pasture that has been vacant for at least two weeks and separated from untreated, affected animals.

Caution:

If redness, irritation, or swelling persists or worsens, consult a veterinarian. This product is for livestock use only and not for human use. For external veterinary use only. Keep out of the reach of children.

foot rot treatment

This stuff is great. I have a buck with chronic foot rot. I was using antibiotic injections and he was still having problems. I bought this ointment and used it for about 1 week and the results are unbelievable. I highly recommend this stuff.

Quickly treats hoof rot

Used this for years to treat chronic foot rot in my flock. Stings a bit on application because it quickly attacks the rot. Even if you haven't ever had foot rot in your flock I recommend having a bottle or two on hand and dousing the feet of any sheep you
