Rx Selarid for Cats
Selarid Topical Parasiticide kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching for one month and is indicated for the prevention and control of flea infestations, prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis, and the treatment and control of ear mite infestations. Selarid also in indicated for the treatment and control of roundworm and intestinal hookworm infections in cats.
Selarid is a prescription available as a colorless to yellow, ready to use solution in a single dose applicator for topical treatment of cats eight weeks of age and older. The content of each applicator is formulated to provide a minimum of 2.7mg/lb of body weight of selamectin.

Directions:
Apply topically as directed by your veterinarian. Ensure the solution is applied directly to the skin and not the fur for optimal absorption and efficacy. For cats only. Administer monthly for continuous protection.
Cautions:
Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Do not use on kittens under six weeks of age or on sick, debilitated, or underweight cats. Use only as directed by your veterinarian. Monitor for any adverse reactions and consult your veterinarian if concerns arise.
