Complete Parasite Control for Cats and Ferrets
Barrier for Cats provides comprehensive protection against a range of parasites, making it a great alternative to Advantage Multi. It is effective for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis and is designed to kill adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis). In addition to flea control, Barrier also treats ear mite infestations (Otodectes cynotis) and controls intestinal parasites such as Hookworm (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) and Roundworm (Toxocara cati). This easy-to-apply topical solution is also indicated for ferrets, preventing heartworm disease and treating flea infestations.

Directions:
Administer the entire contents of a single dose tube (or appropriate combination of tubes for cats over 18 lbs. and dogs over 110 lbs.) of Barrier® topically as directed. The recommended minimal dose for cats is:
4.5 mg/lb (10.0 mg/kg) imidacloprid
0.45 mg/lb (1.0 mg/kg) moxidectin based on body weight.
Cautions and Warnings:
Do not use on sick, debilitated, or underweight cats or ferrets.
Not for use on cats less than 9 weeks of age or less than 2 lbs body weight.
The safety of Barrier for Cats has not been established in breeding, pregnant, or lactating cats.
Cats may experience hypersalivation, tremors, vomiting, and decreased appetite if the product is inadvertently ingested or licked from the application site.
Use with caution in geriatric cats or those with subclinical conditions.
The effectiveness in ferrets weighing over 4.4 lbs has not been established.
