Rx Gentamicin 0.3% Solution – 5ml Bottle
Gentocin Ophthalmic Solution is a veterinary-prescribed medication formulated for the treatment of external bacterial infections affecting the eyes and surrounding tissues of dogs and cats. It effectively targets conditions such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, and superficial corneal ulcers caused by bacteria sensitive to gentamicin.
Dosage & Administration:
Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions for proper dosing and administration. The recommended dose is one to two drops instilled into the conjunctival sac three to four times daily (less frequently at night) until noticeable improvement occurs. In chronic cases, the dosage should be reduced gradually as advised by your veterinarian.
Some pets may experience a temporary stinging sensation after application, which is generally mild and does not require discontinuation of treatment. Regular ocular re-examinations are recommended, especially during long-term use, to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
