Elanco Tapeworm Dewormer for Dogs, 5-Tablets

Elanco Tapeworm Dog Dewormer tablets are given orally and have proven highly effective in the removal of tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum and Taenia pisiformis) from dogs. Each tablet contains 34 mg of praziquantel.

Tablets may be crumbled and mixed with food for administration. Safe for dogs and puppies over 4 weeks of age.

Fasting is neither necessary nor recommended!

Dosage & Administration:

  • 5 lbs and under - 1/2 tablet
  • 6-10 lbs - 1 tablet
  • 11-15 lbs - 1 1/2 tablets
  • 16-30 lbs - 2 tablets
  • 31-45 lbs - 3 tablets
  • 46-60 lbs - 4 tablets
  • 60 lbs and over - 5 tablets

Side Effects: Isolated incident of either vomiting, diarrhea, poor appetite or listlessness have been reported following treatment, but were considered non-significant. If these signs are observed and they persist, consult your veterinarian.

Tapeworm dewormer

I used this product initially because it was the only one I could find. I had a rescue puppy that was loaded with tapeworms, I had to use four tablets due to his weight but this product worked great. I am very pleased and plan to keep a bottle on hand, since I have several dogs.

Great tapewormer

Highly effective tape wormer. Used it on a kennel of beagles. Definitely didn’t the job. 😊

Fast and effective

Our 80 lb black lab ended up with fleas and then tapeworms because of that before we could eradicate the fleas. He only needed one treatment of this product and the worms were gone, and his appetite was back.
